What is a zine? Well here is the description I found: A zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine.
I had previously shared this quick and easy project using 1 sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. These are called zines, or mini journals. I enjoy combining left over paper scraps with some quick and easy to use supplies. You can make these with any paper.
I love the size of these Zine's, they are approx. 4 1/4" 2 3/4" closed. Tiny little books. No glue or sewing needed to make the base of these cute projects. In the video below I show you a few versions of them.
I love the idea of being able to make copies of your completed work that you can share with friends and family. I think that is what made this project to exciting for me. That you can duplicate a little book and share that. I also took those copies and made them unique in their own way.
I love being able to use 1 page to create a mini album. I recently started working on a new version, and will be sharing that with you soon. Keep an eye out for those posts!
I often get asked what paper and printer I use for my creations. Here is a link to my fave supplies, including paper and printer.
