Using Your Journals - How I Use Mine

It's been a minute since I shared a flip through of one of my personal completed junk journals. I will have a new video up very soon.  I enjoy the process so much, but I have found that most recently I don't enjoy to film the process. So I thought I would show you some videos of past journals and how I fill them. This is one question that I always get and I love having a variety of journals to show how I use them.

Check out the playlist on my channel, for more inspiration. I do have some past journal with me videos as well. I share the process of creative journaling in my handmade journals.

Do you find it easy to fill a journal? Do you have several different journals that you use on an ongoing basis? I certainly do. Different sizes, and styles. I like to change them up often. It keeps me inspired.

Happy Journaling!

New Digitals and Project Share

I am really enjoying crafting by using my left over paper scraps and fabrics. I also love to make something new with the pieces I have. I wanted to make something pretty that can be put together and shared with friends. Since I have always loved the 'designer' ways of showcasing fabric samples, I thought I would create my own digitals that would look great in putting something similar together.

I show you a super fun and easy way to make some yourself. Of course you can always use whatever you have on-hand to make this fun project. However, my new digitals are a perfect combination to go with this type of craft!

You can find the digitals I showed and used in the link above, as well as other digitals I have in my shop. I hope you enjoy using them in your projects. Please tag me on IG / Facebook if you do make something using my digitals, I would love to see what you make!

Happy Crafting,

New Folio Design - Ephemera Holder

I loved making this new design of a folio / Ephemera holder. I really am enjoying adding all the interactive elements, the pockets and tuck spots. It's like a treasure holder waiting to be explored.

I was inspired to make this from a project I shared a few posts back, a mini album with the tab style pages. However I wanted to make a larger version this time around.

I used a paper pad and some gorgeous digitals to make this project. Maybe I will do a tutorial if there is enough interest. Leave a comment if you want to see a tutorial for this project even though I am working on so many more tutorials already. lol

I hope you find some inspiration!

Tutorial - Making A Junk Journal From Start To Finish

I thought I would show you another way to make a junk journal from start to finish. I do have a few different version on my channel's Beginner Junk Journal Ideas playlist. However, this version is a new one I wanted to try, and thought I would make it from start to finish.

Here is what you will need: Cereal boxes, paper of your choice, glue, packing tape.

I show you how to make this hardcover version. Remember you can use whatever papers you choose. I enjoy using digitals because I can print out as much or as little as I want, and they usually come with some great ephemera pieces, like the digitals I used in this video.

You will add a flip pocket to the inside cover.

You will learn how to stitch your pages in the cover for a hidden stitch style.

You will have a completed Junk Journal at the end of the video.

Tools and materials used in the video:
- Cereal box cardboard - Your chosen papers for the covers (inside and out) - Your chosen journal pages - Packing tape 2 inch - A link to similar one to what I used see my fave amazon supplies. - Tacky glue - does not warp paper - links to the glue on my fave amazon supplies. - Thread (crochet, embroidery,….) - Needle - Awl - Paperclips - Paper trimmer (optional) - Scissors

Cover pieces cut at 8 3/4" x 6" - Need 2 pieces
Spine cut at 8 3/4" x 1" - I used 2 pieces but you can use 1.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Check out my YouTube channel for more ideas and inspiration.

Have fun crafting!

Hinged Mini Album Tutorial

I was so inspired to make this super easy and fun little mini album. It has so many possibilities! I shared the tutorial on my channel.

In the video I show you how to make one and we start the decorating process. Love it so far!!

I am also working on the next video finishing the embellishments and starting on the one that will be more vintage themed.

Hope you find some inspiration!

Stationery Boxes - Tutorial and More to share!

I've been busy putting together my stationery bento boxes. I had a few orders that I was working on and now they are ready to go out.

I shared a video before showing you some of the items that I added to my boxes. I had fun putting it all together, including making the box that the ephemera is going in!

I have a sampler of gorgeous paper textures and colours.

Handmade mini boxes loaded with a variety of ephemera, like die cuts, mini tags, shapes, etc.

I also added a tag with some textiles, like hand torn ribbon - I love how soft it is.

For this and more creative ideas, see my channel or instagram for more shares.
