Decorating Pockets for Happy Mail

I have been really enjoyed decorating some of my handmade pockets that I will be sending out in happy mail. I wanted to show you some of the goodies I have added to them, it might inspire you to use your stash. I wanted to keep them as flat as possible in order to be able to load as much in the envelope as possible. Use your stash!

Happy Crafting!

Mini Album - One Page Wonder - Fall Theme

Another one page wonder mini album to add to my playlist. I had previously made one similar back in 2019, but decided to make this one a little bit different and in a fall theme. It is a quick project to put together and you can make many bases at once and save them to decorate later! Use up those paper pads and 12x12 sheets of paper.

I was happy to be able to use some of the new supplies I was able to get my hands on, like the #paigeevans Bungalow Lane collection. I love this collection so much. I paired it with some items I already had in my stash.

I hope you find some time to be creative today!

What is a Zine? Mini Book Love!

What is a zine? Well here is the description I found: zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine.

I had previously shared this quick and easy project using 1 sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. These are called zines, or mini journals. I enjoy combining left over paper scraps with some quick and easy to use supplies. You can make these with any paper.

I love the size of these Zine's, they are approx. 4 1/4" 2 3/4" closed. Tiny little books. No glue or sewing  needed to make the base of these cute projects. In the video below I show you a few versions of them.

I love the idea of being able to make copies of your completed work that you can share with friends and family. I think that is what made this project to exciting for me. That you can duplicate a little book and share that. I also took those copies and made them unique in their own way.

I love being able to use 1 page to create a mini album. I recently started working on a new version, and will be sharing that with you soon. Keep an eye out for those posts!

I often get asked what paper and printer I use for my creations. Here is a link to my fave supplies, including paper and printer.

Easy Mini Journal Tutorial - Got Paper Bags??

I have previously shared a quick tutorial on my YouTube channel on how you can make a quick and easy mini paper bag junk journal. You can use what you already have in your craft room. If you have paper bags, this will be so fun to put together.

I even show you the easy 3 hole pamphlet stitch step by step to be able to add your pages in a more permanent and fancy way (not staples required). I hope you enjoy this Tutorial. Also remember to check out my channel's tutorial playlist for more how-to ideas.

Spring Themed Album / Folio

I had so much fun making this spring themed album / folio. I need a little spring in my life. I am done with winter! In this project I used some gorgeous digital designs from Nitwit Collections. I really enjoy crafts that you can make at home, with items you may already have.

I love projects where you can tuck photos, ephemera, journaling, special pieces that will be found in later years. I think this would be such a wonderful handmade gift to send to someone special. This project has so much interactive elements!

I also enjoy adding lot's of interactive elements and of course being able to recycle / reuse some items in a project is always my go to. Even if it's the tiniest piece of recycled material.

I do have a tutorial for making this style of album / folio. We made one over the holidays! I often feel like I need to try out different themes or designs if I really liked the way they came out in the first place. This was the tutorial video for this design. If you want to make this design, see the video below.

I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy spring themed project.

Junk Mail Envelope Ideas

Today I am having some fun with some new cutting dies, and an embossing folder. I love using these fun tools in my paper crafting. For my quick project, I recycled a junk mail envelope and made a cute pocket to hold my embossed tag. You will find I have several videos showing you how I like to use junk mail envelopes in my creations, and I have made a few fun projects with them.

Do you enjoy recycling / repurposing items in your crafts as much as I do? I think it makes crafting so much more fun! For more ideas check out my Junk Mail Envelope Projects playlist on my YouTube channel.

I hope you find some time to get crafty today!
