Slider Card EASY DIY - With Options

Hi Friends,

On my YouTube channel I show you how to make this easy slider card, step by step. I also have links to my fave supplies list, where you can find the mini envelope dies I used to make it. However, I know that many of you might not have the dies or want to purchase them, so I have shown you an option here on how you can make your own mini envelopes to make this same design.

Step 1 - Make an envelope. You could use your envelope punch board, or make your own. These are so easy to make. I also have a quick tutorial on my channel on how you can make an easy envelope. See my tutorials playlist.

Step 2 - Mark and cut out your slit on the envelope. I like to use my hole punch to start me off, on each side of the envelope slit.

Step 3 - Cut your slit. Easy peasy. Now you have your own slide envelope that you can add to your projects.

I hope you enjoyed the share. Please leave a comment if you would like to see more projects like this on my channel or if you have suggestions on what else we could use to make this project easier.

The dimensions for the card I made in the video are 2 pieces of cards stock. Card base is 5 7/8" x 4 3/4" and the card top is, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". The rest you measure depending on your envelope size.

Happy Crafting!

Snail Mail Ideas - Use up your 12" papers!!

Hello my crafty friends!

I am so happy to have another quick tutorial to add to my channel's playlist. This one is a quick and easy one to make, using up those 12" scrapbook papers that we seem to never be able to finish. Maybe I should stop buying them..nah :-) Let's use them up!!

Snail Mail Ideas!

One page, 4 pockets, and you can then add whatever else you want to the ephemera holder. It is perfect to put in an envelope and send to penpals or in swaps. They can all be so different, depending on how much you decorate and add to them. I've made several and they are all unique.

Let me know if you are inspired to make one and tag me on Instagram / Facebook or leave a comment below. I would love to see what you have created!!

Hugs,

Quick project share

Hello Hello!

I have a quick project share today. This is for a custom order, I had forgotten to share the video before. It is one of my stationery loaded pockets, with a mini flip book. I super love these projects. I love making loaded pockets with removable ephemera pieces. The tiny flip book is also one of my faves. So much versatility in these style of projects.

I hope you get inspired!

Happy New Year!!

How I get organized!

I hope you are having a wonderful start to the new year! With a new year, usually comes resolutions. One quick thing that I always enjoy doing, and it makes it easy to keep my resolutions, is start small. To organize my craft supplies, I like to use quick and easy things that I already have around (also I could always make something) to organize my supplies. This makes it easier to find things when I need them.

In this video I will show you how I organize some of my stamps, die cuts, ephemera and embossed folder papers using things that you may already have at home. Some quick and easy ways to accomplish this and check off one my resolutions, keeping organized.

I hope you find these ideas helpful. Let me know what you liked the most and also, any tips or ideas you might have. Also, let me know what other items you have been meaning to organize, and would like some tips and tricks on getting that done.

Happy organizing!

Easy Album Tutorial

Hello my crafty friends!

Here is my latest tutorial. This super easy and fun album is using 12" x 12" sheets of paper. Use up those paper pads!! I think it's one of my faves so far. If you haven't seen my tutorials, check out the playlist on my channel, I have so many tutorials that I have shared. Ok so this one I will upload soon, is so versatile and it helps use up those paper pads and craps! I am looking forward to new project ideas using up my paper pads in the new year. Wait until you see what it looks like inside!

I like that you can put it together with glue (no sewing) and there are so many ways you can change it up. It has many pockets, tuck spots and so much space for pictures or ephemera. Another great one for snail mail!

Let me know what other tutorials you would like to see me share on my channel, I am always looking for suggestions. Also keep an eye out for my next giveaway winner announcements and also, what I will have for my next giveaway.

Remember to follow by email (there is an option on the right side of this page ) to know what's coming up next. I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Liz
