Today I will be showing you a quick craft with me project. We will be making a super easy greeting card using Washi tape for the design. You will be surprised how easy it is to do and it helps you use up all that Washi tape. If you happen to be a collector ( hmm hoarder ) like myself. haha.
I will be using some of the Washi tape I recently shared from a haul with Stationery Pal. I have been enjoying using all the goodies in that haul. Currently I am getting all the entries for the giveaway together and will be announcing the winner of that giveaway soon. Keep an eye out. Remember if you do purchase anything from stationery pal, use my coupon code for a discount.

I also have the flip through of the latest Daphne's Diary Magazine Holiday Issue. Thank you to Daphne's Diary for sending it to me, I really love this issue. So much to see and inspiration for my creative projects.
I was so happy to have Daphne's Diary contact me and ask if I wanted to take a look at their 2022 journal / planner. Um, yes please!! haha. I have not had a chance to get my hands on this beauty before, and I am so happy to have been able to receive it.
If you are a subscriber to my YouTube channel you will know that I have been buying and using the Daphne's Diary magazines in my creative projects. Mostly for my creative journals. I love cutting it up (after reading it of course) and using it up in my projects. I have also made quite a few journals with them, different sizes and styles. I super love it.
I think I will be using the planner / journal for 2022, so far I have so much inspiration from seeing all the lovely images and designs on the pages. Take a look at the full flip through here. I have made some slight alterations already. :-)
Here is a hint for my subscribers / followers. I may have another little giveaway soon, so remember to watch, like, comment, keep an eye out. :-) PS if you watch the video to the end, I have a tip on how to find some freebies from Daphne's Diary that you may not be aware of.
Today I have a video showing you how to make 3 different styles of gift bags. You only need one sheet of letter size paper for each. I think the last style is my fave right now, but they are all perfect for gift giving at any occasion. I think I will replace using envelopes for my greeting cards and use these instead. I hope you find some inspiration.
I do think adding a nice bag topper to the larger bags is a great idea, it makes them look a little more special. The best part, is they can be reused over and over - so they are very environmentally friendly!! LOVE LOVE!!
Another giveaway, yay!! Thanks so much to MUNBYN for this give-away for my subscribers!! I am sure you are going to love this prize!! Check out the links below and details on how to enter. Hi Friends!
I am so excited about this. I have been trying to figure out how everyone can take part in my new monthly swaps. I hope that it works out just as lovely as I have imagined it! haha. So here is what I am thinking.
Each month I will have a new swap item idea to share with you. If you want to take part in the swap, all you have to do is let me know in that month's post / video. I wanted a chance for you to get inspired by all the lovely creators / crafters out there and also meet some new friends! I have said it many times, crafters / creators are the most amazing people I have had the chance to connect with and I love being part of this community.
If you have social media use the #lizthepaperprojectswaps so that we can see what you are making. Remember to tag me on instagram / facebook @lizthepaperproject
You can also share your swap pictures if you would like on my facebook page.
So the idea is to use your stash, get your items out and ready to make something fun, quick and that you enjoy. Make it in your own style. If you are a subscriber to my YouTube channel you know the style of crafting I enjoy and since I have you as a subscriber, I am sure you enjoy the same.
Here are the details for the first swap I will be hosting:
Be a subscriber to my YouTube channel and / or Instagram
18 or older to take part
Make the swap items for that month - send me one to show and make sure to have one ready to send to your swap partner. (You only send 1 to me, you will send one to your partner after)
I will match you with a partner(s) in your own country (or the closest one to you, this is to help to keep shipping costs down)
If you are ok to swap internationally, please let me knowwhen you send your swap mail sample.
For this month November, your swap will include:
- 1 Handmade shaker
- 2 Handmade bag toppers
- Plus send 1 de-stash item to your partner: example: stickers sheet, sequins mix, or die cuts; something for your partner to use in their own crafty projects. (something you might have an extra of and would like to share)
- Sign up by email by November 20th. Email me at: Liz.paperproject@gmail.com
For ideas on how to make these, I have a video showing how to make Easy Holiday Shakers and Bag. But you can make these, however you enjoy making them!.
In your mail, please remember to write an email where I can reach you to let you know who your partner is, and where to send your swap to.
I will send everyone that sends me the swap sample mail a free digital for that month, and maybe, if time permits, one of you will also get a swap from me. :-)
This swap shares being mailed to me should be postmarked by Dec 4, 2021 (I had to make this one short because we are already mid month) This will give me time to film it so everyone can see what you made, and partner you up, so you can get something before Christmas!! yay!
The next months swap will be open for the entire month, to give everyone more time to send things in.
Any questions? please send me an email liz.paperproject@gmail.com
Getting into the spirit of it all, I have started making my holiday crafts items. I am hoping to make enough to send in my happy mail packs this year. I really enjoyed making these quick and super easy shakers. No special tools or materials required!!! These are my first one's and I really love how they came out. The best part is, it takes no time at all once you've gathered the simple items you can use.
I hope to be sharing many more easy and quick holiday crafts with you these next few weeks, and that you get inspired to get creative.
For these shakers I used some printable images from Digital Collage Club, (I have some coupon codes if you are interested in purchasing items from their shop, check my coupons tab above) Plus I used some items I had at home and some of these cute little paper bags I made with my cutting die. If you are interested in some of the bags, I will have some available in my shop. They are so cute and can be used for some many fun crafty projects.
I do also love how my bag toppers are coming along. These are also super easy and fun to put together. See the video for more details.
Journal as soon as I came across it! I’ve seen similar ones before made with regular sheets of paper but I love how it turns out with cardstock.paper. Check out my craft with me video here:
I am definitely going to be making many more for gifts for the holidays! So fun! I hope you enjoy the video and find some inspiration.
Another one page wonder mini album to add to my playlist. I had previously made one similar back in 2019, but decided to make this one a little bit different and in a fall theme. It is a quick project to put together and you can make many bases at once and save them to decorate later! Use up those paper pads and 12x12 sheets of paper.
I was happy to be able to use some of the new supplies I was able to get my hands on, like the #paigeevans Bungalow Lane collection. I love this collection so much. I paired it with some items I already had in my stash.
I have some catching up to do! After a few weeks away and recovering from surgery, I've got some catching up to do with my blog. I hope you've all been well. I have started making many more embellishment share videos, project share ideas and would love to know what else you would like to see. I feel like I am starting an awesome collection of easy to do project ideas that could be made in less than an hour or so. I have added to my one page wonders playlist and will be making more tutorials in the coming days. I am still enjoying fall / autumn crafts and will have a few more shares.
As promised here are the links to the items I mentioned in the video, remember to use the discount code offered to my subscribers if you are going to purchase anything: 20% off discount code : L12825
